2109S Air in the Line

Has anyone found a solution? It isn't the water pump, shower miser or the valve for the winterizing port. I am headed to Rockwood next week for them to find and fix it.

It is some what important to get a shower now and then.

I just found this thread https://www.forestriverforums.com/fo...ir-201019.html

Now I am going to go back and check my shower miser for a crack real carefully.

2109s Air in the Line - Solved

Rockwood solved the air leak. It was a small 1/4 inch cut in the water line which would pass a pressure test and sometimes fail but was never consistent.
They replaced the water mizer, water pump, insulation, and more fittings over a five hour time period. It would only leak water under the shower when I had the water mizer on.

good you found it the more I read about the mixer the more I'm convinced I don't need one.

Dont they put a check valve on the discharge side of pump to prevent drain back.

I find the showermiser is a good idea for when using the fresh water tank... saves wasted water waiting for it to get hot.

I notice on our 2205s, if using the showermiser with cold water in the shower, the water pump scavanges and air gets in system.

Using the hot only, seems to work fine.

I know it is there for the hot water but sometimes if between camp trips and water is in the fresh tank I run the pump and water through the miser to keep things from going stagnant...

Thats when the cold side airs up the pump...
