2507 Carbon Monoxide with Gas water heater!

Just returned from our first vacation, 2 weeks, with our new 2507. Everything worked great all vacation until we got to the last weekend where we were dry camping at a Nascar race and had to use our gas water heater. After 20-30 minutes of use, the carbon monoxide detector alarmed. Has anyone had this issue. Wondering if it is connected wrong or just too close to the heater.
Thanks

Any water heater fumes should be venting outside. I think that detects propane as well, are you sure there's no leaks?

Key word - dry camping. How much of a charge did your battery have? A battery with a low charge will cause the carbon monoxide detector to start chirping.

It wasn't chirping, it was definite alarm. And it was the co portion not the propane. Either way, if you read my newest post, it's not going to be an issue, getting a slightly newer model. We will mention it to the dealer though and will watch for it in the new one.
Thanks for the replies.
