Has anybody had this failure and is it worth fixing or should I replace it with something better. My weight distribution hitch is a trunion style hitch. So the jack gets a workout putting those bars on.
Thanks

I had the same failure on a popup several years ago. It was a hand crank so I opted to just replace it. I just upgraded to a 2509S and while I enjoy not having to crank by hand, I am not impressed with the jack. I use it the same way you use yours and get concerned when I hear it struggling to lift. If I was in your situation, it would be the perfect opportunity to upgrade.
I have not done any research so I am interested in what good replacement would be. Keep us updated on what you do.
