2509S tounge jack

Hi
I was going to take my 2020 2509S of the hitch of my truck and the post on the jack basically broke lose. I can lift the post with my hand up and down. To be clear it’s not the inner post with the foot it’s the outer one it pins to. The motor still runs just no torque on it. I’m guessing there is a pin inside that sheered off. Has anybody had this failure and is it worth fixing or should I replace it with something better. My weight distribution hitch is a trunion style hitch. So the jack gets a workout putting those bars on.
Thanks

I had the same failure on a popup several years ago. It was a hand crank so I opted to just replace it. I just upgraded to a 2509S and while I enjoy not having to crank by hand, I am not impressed with the jack. I use it the same way you use yours and get concerned when I hear it struggling to lift. If I was in your situation, it would be the perfect opportunity to upgrade.

I have not done any research so I am interested in what good replacement would be. Keep us updated on what you do.

ened up replacing it with a Husky tongue jack 4500 LBS. The OEM jack looked like the jack screw had sheered off.
