I still have my original water filter, never used it. Leave canister empty and use a Camco blue torpedo at the spigot.

I hated the interior filter. A pain to winterize and messy and expensive to replace the cartridge while it’s inside the trailer. Took the whole thing out and bypassed it. I have a 2 stage sediment and charcoal filter in a tote with my hoses that sits outside, usually under the trailer. Replacement filters are $3 for sediment and $7 for charcoal. It’s a standard setup that most RV’ers in the southwest use.

I like it. Well built.
