2902WS water heater
I just got this trailer last fall and have only gotten to take it out 2x this spring. I love it except for shower. It seems to barely have enough hot water to get wet much less a complete shower. I'm curious if others with this floor plan have the same issue because of the distance from water heater to shower or not? (34' trailer, wh in rear corner and shower opposite side about 2/3 distance to front) If you did, what was your solution?

Start with reading this thread linked below. You probably have your crossover valve incorrect

I double checked as soon as I got back to the trailer and the valves are correct according to the diagram sent. I looked it up when I dewinterized the trailer. What is your next suggestion? Most of you guys are sooo good at this diagnosis stuff?

Is it a 6 gal Heater ? You have to be quick...wet down...water off. Soap up...water on and rinse....DONE.

Can you please take a pic of the valves with your cellphone and post it?

No Hot water
Is the hot water tank heated by gas, electric or both? If both make sure both sources are turned on. Test to see that you have power at the terminals of the electric element. One lead to the terminal the other to a known ground. Test both terminals. If there is 120 volts on both sides of the element terminals, the element is good, power is on but the thermostat could be faulty. Run the hot water into a container (sink) until it’s HOT! You can now measure the temperature. It should be 77 + degrees C (170+ degrees F). While your doing this have your DW watch to make sure the gas comes on. If not the 12 volt gas thermostat could be faulty (or no gas).
Are we having fun yet? If your not confident you can do the above TAKE THE UNIT to a repair facility. If you are with me read on.
Next disconnect the power to the hot water tank, kill the entire trailer if that’s easier. Remove the thermostat wires and test from one end of the temperature limit the other. It should read .1 - .3 ohms. If the reading is higher than 1 Ohm replace the unit. Do this for both the gas and electric thermostats. These limit switches should look new! Not discoloured, dark or burned. Bright shining clean!
That should have the water back to working

I would guess it is not the distance from the WH to the shower that is the issue but rather the flow rate you use and the 6 gal. capacity. If the above suggestions are indicating the WH is OK then... What I did was change the shower head to an oxygenics which will appear to boost the pressure and allow you to lower the flow rate from the faucet and stretch out your 6 gal of really hot water. I went to a single handle mixing faucet as well, to get to the desired temp and lowered flow rate faster. Especially true if you are dry camping on just what is in the FW tank. Did you check your outside shower? If the shower's faucets are open but the shower head button is off, it's can act the same as the WH bypass being open.

I've had my 2902ws for two months now and haven't experienced that problem. In fact I commented to my better half how much hot water there was compared to our old 5th wheel.

I can post a pic but it will be tmo. It's raining and dark. I'm in CO where Mother Nature can't decide what season we are in. I might melt if I get that wet! I will also check the outside shower. I remember putting the shower head on when I dewinterized but I don't remember about the knobs. I did order an Oxygenics shower head but it hasn't come yet. All that electric stuff, I have a guy! LOL (I'm a property manager and I'll call my mtnc guy. I'm sure he loves every time I have him do something on the trailer!) I have both switches on because my rv repair guy says it recovers faster. I am also pretty sure it is a 6 gal WH. I had a Kodiak and it had a 10 gal WH and I had hot water left over. Does the Dura faucet just fit on top of where the knobs were?
Thanks for all the suggestions! Y'all rock!

You have to remove the old faucets to install the Dura. But it fits in the same place.
Just a heads up - I like mine, but DW is not as thrilled. She says she hits it while showering, which changes the temperature and/or flow.

That can happen if you have a little extra junk in the trunk Otherwise it works fine

With both gas and electric running, the hot water in the shower in our 2706 lasts for 7 and a half minutes of continuous flow. (Yes I timed it!)
Plenty long enough for me and my bald head. Marginal but doable for the lady folks of the house.

In my last trailer, it was like yours. That's why I can't figure out this one. Here is the valve pics and the outside shower was off.
