5th wheel height - does clearance count?

i have a 2011 Rockwood 8281SS 5th wheel and i put a Maxx Air Fan/Mate
model 850 on the full bath fan and now i am wondering if the rig might be to high, i have not put the rig on a level surface to find out how high it is yet but i will a.s.a.p, anyone have input on this
how high can a rig be ?

Sorry, can't resist, it can only be as high as the lowest bridge you are going under.

OK around where I live, there is an 18 foot minimum on power lines and cables across a road. There is a 13 foot minimum across a private street or drive. Just be careful.

Just had the height conversation the other night at work. Went out and looked at all of the trailers sitting at our loading dock. All were 13' 6" high. Think that is a standard for the trucking industry. I doubt your rig is going to be that tall, even with the covers on the vent. My TH is one of the highest manufactured, and it's 13'6" to the top of the AC.

The Laredo by kestone is 13'6" acording to their specs the highest I saw when shopping My wildcat was listed as 11'11" and when I built my Catport it was 12'1" but the wildcat turned out to be 12'4" at the top of the airconditioner unit I ended removing the concrete and dropping the slab 8" so I would double check your unit with a four foot level at the highest point just to be sure.

All public bridges on street/highways/freeways should have a minimum of 13'6" clearance unless they have signs warning you of a smaller clearance. This is a fed requirement.

Did you have any clearance issues with the vent pipe that is right next to the fan in the full bath? I was thinking of getting one of these but thought it looked really close.

it does touch the top of the vent pipe just a little, i dont think it will be a issue, i was thinking the smells would come back into the camper but i have not noticed anything yet

i did put a Maxxair II on the small bathroom vent and it works fine also
so i dont think you need the big cover if you dont want it
i was not sure at the time i got the covers, i pick them up over the winter when i had extra money
