8244ws 5t wheel slide topper rail

recently purchased a 8244ws 5th wheel with out the awning slide toppers. wife now wants to add the toppers to both the main slide and the closet slide. looks like the unit came from the factory with the slide topper rails already installed. can any one confirm.

Can you provide a picture of what you are calling slider topper rails? Probably part of the rain gutter rail.

If the rails you are referencing are lower than the full length rain gutters and are mounted just over the slides being a little longer than the slide those should be for attaching topper fabric to trailer. They should also have a slot facing out to attach topper fabric. Hope this helps.

thanks -forest river tells me that you are correct .the rails are indeed installed at the factory for installation of slide out toppers.
