8301 Rockwood fifth wheel

Took out our new Rockwood this past weekend for a trial run. A few minor things need fixing but nothing that really changes camping in it. A rear door seal that need replacing due to gasket being twisted resulting in very difficult opening of door and screen on front door creating a problem with opening that door. Both simple fixes. Otherwise we love the camper and would recommend to others

Has anyone used the grill that attaches to sidewall of camper? Does the heat not affect the exteriorof camper. Just not sure about this. Wondering if it would be better to attach arm to bumper for grill

Good thing went fine for you. I use my grill all the time and love it, like you I was a little worried about the heat but the mounting holds away so there is no problem.

We've used one for 7 yrs now with the awning out and no damage to anything.

We have an 8301 on order. We previously had a Rockwood pop up with the grill and had no problems.
