8312ss roof.

Below are some pictures of our 2018 8312ss we took delivery of 7/12. Is this normal these days ? We've been away from RVing for a few years, but the roof of our 1996 four winds we purchased new didn't look like this. Should we be concerned about all the bubbles ?

Here is the response from Forest River / Rockwood.

Hi Frank
*
I’ve reviewed this with Production and Mgmt. and the feeling is that since it has been very warm that we give it a little more time and the membrane should lay flat. As long as there are no tears, or perforations in the membrane there is no way for water to infiltrate. I have loaded the pics into the DocViewer for your VIN so that if anything should go wrong Frank we will certainly stand behind it.

What do some of you more experienced folks think ? Will the roof lay flat in time ? Is the roof supposed to be glued 100% and they didn't put enough on ? Thanks everyone for your patience and advice.

*

Best regards

We just discovered the same type of thing on our brand new 8295WS. We sent it back for some other adjustments to the dealers and they said they would take a look. I will be interested to see what they come up with. Maybe I should email FR too.
