Added Slide Toppers to Windjammer

Today my daughter and I installed Solera Slide Toppers on our 2017 Windjammer 3006WK. Our trailer already had the rails mounted above the slides, so install was pretty easy. The only issue is that the long slide topper is a bit awkward for 2 people to maneuver, but we managed to work it out.

FYI, I was told to take pics with the phone standing up with the big button on the left, but my pics are still sideways...

They are a great addition, the photo problem is the phone software to the forum I get around this by downloading to my computer then to the forum. I'm sure some of the techs on the forum will have a better way of doing this.

Who told you that? The person is playing games with you.
The phone must be landscape with the button on the right.

That looks great. I wish U the best. Forest River did not mount the rail on the side of the 5th wheel high enough becasue of a window that I would have deleted. I always have drainage water problems. Take out the window and raise the rail and no problemo. Anyway found a solution but rarely us it. Slide in and slide out when I need 2.

Yes, I meant the button on the right. That's how the pics were taken. When I realized I mistakenly wrote left, it was too late to edit my post.

We recently put slide covers on my parents 2018 Wildcat. The rails were already installed so we’re thinking all good. It didn’t take long for the rails to begin to pull away from the wall on the ends. When we removed the screw cover, we discovered the rails were not screwed on with enough screws and there were no screws on the very ends. We got all this corrected. May want to check this or at least be aware of it.

We got the slide-out covers when we first ordered our Windjammer. You will find they are absolutely worth it. Ours have been through storms and 8 inch snowfalls and still work beautifully. On the long one, though, sometimes the water puddles a bit if the slant isn't enough. I have been able to pull the slide-out in slowly (start, stop, start again) and the water drains off as it winds up. Some people put a pool noodle or other thing under it to keep it from puddling. Overall, I am so glad we got them. Enjoy!
