Adding a bedroom TV to a MiniLite 2506??

I've been having a heck of a time trying to find a tv for the bedroom of our MiniLite 2506. The space is small limiting it to a 24" and the location is tight limiting the ability to come off the wall any significant distance, as it would make getting to the far side of the bed tough.

I have a MorRyde fixed bracket and the issue I've been having is the bracket covers a good portion of the rear of the tv's I've tried and sets about 1" off of the wall (covers the power plug in to the tv). I've tried a Samsung and an LG. Any ideas as to a tv that has power and coax on the bottom or side?

Hello bshort,

I owned a 2506S and installed a 24" Samsung in the bedroom about the same size as the Furrion tv that came with the unit, I used an articulating wall mount I bought on eBay for $15.00.

When I'm not watching tv I can swing it flat against the wall to either side, towards the window or towards the back wall.

The biggest issue I had was trying to figured out the actual size of the tv backer marked on the wall, if you read other posts it seems FR uses different materials for the tv backer and in many cases it's confusing.

I contacted FR customer service and I was told my unit had a backer made out of plywood about 1/4" thick and it was 10x10 from the center of the sticker. Well after drilling a pilot hole I realized the backer was actually metal not wood and it's 5" in each direction from the center, I used sheet metal screens to mount the bracket.

Unfortunately I did not take any pictures when I installed the tv but I could take a few this Thursday if you would like to see how I installed mine?

Thanks Birdman. I called FR and they told me it has a metal plate 12x24. I tapped around and it seems to be that approximate size. I have a nice stud finder and it seems that the plate goes almost to the top of the curtains. I snagged the Magnavox from our old trailer and will be mounting it. It has side power and coax locations and will be the best fit. I'd buy another, but they're discontinued.
