Advice towing fifth wheel

Anyone have advice on pulling our new 5th wheel? We have a FW2899 KS and tow it with a Ford F-250 diesel with turbo charge. It seems to bounce quite a bit and wonder if this is normal. Any suggestions to have a smoother ride? My husband added air bags. The first time with them he inflated them to 75 psi, the second time to 60 psi, the third time to 50 psi. The 50 was way too bouncy.

I had air bags on my last two trucks, both F-250. They are known for being a bit soft. The first thing to do is make sure your weights are all okay. What is the GVWR of your trailer and truck? Mine were all within the rated weight limits. With the air bags, I had to put as much as 70 or so PSI in them when towing in rough, bumpy places (like the concrete roads all around Houston). But when I got on the Interstates, or other smooth roads, I could typically run the air bags at around 20 - 40 psi. Anyway, lets get your weights established first.

How old are your rear shocks? A set of Bilsteins will stop most of the bounce.
