We needed it in Tucson and Albuquerque this year. 110 in the shade.

I want to come up with something (maybe using shade cloth) so that my ac doesn't have to work so hard.

As I think back, we didn't use it either. Mostly we were in the mountains including highest campground in MD, VA and The Great Smoky Mountain NP. Soon we will be going near the beach, and may need it then.

I bet all of you that did not use your AC this summer will be thinking of how great it would be , to be in the south camping when your shoveling all of that snow. We camp year round here in Southwest Louisiana, especially during the winter months.

We go to Inverhuron by Kindcardine. Holmes Bay has some back in spots that are pretty open. Closes right after Thanksgiving.

Closer to where you are is Rondeau on Lake Erie, open till end of October.

We are at Grundy lake this Saturday then Arrowhead in Huntsville then Sibbald Point on Lake Simcoe.

Thanks! I worry about most Lake Erie areas because of ticks .
I NEED to get out a few more times, but I've got too much going in so it'll have to be the second weekend of October only, then any weekends in November, even if I have to camp dry.
Macgregor point looks good and is open later? And Mew lake in Algonquin.
Lmao to keep it relevant, yea, I know I'll have to use my damned furnace hahahaha!

For those who haven't used their AC this year, you haven't been to Arkansas or anywhere in the South. It was 92 here yesterday

We haven't stopped using it since the end of May. However we are reaching the time of year where we will be able to leave it off.

Nevada, Arizona, Colorado, Indiana, Michigan, South Carolina, Virginia, Ohio, Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Kansas, Missouri.......off top of my head, since April. There has not been one state, in any month, that I didn't turn the air on. Hard to imagine not turning it on at all..........boggles my mind.

When I unhook, I turn on the a/c before opening the slides. This Candeminium gets hot going down the road.

We've had lots of nighttime temps in the 30's & 40's in August and now September here in the mountains of Western PA. A/C wasn't much needed here for the summer that never seemed to happen.

Had my Roo 19 for 3 years. I turned on the AC once in those 3 yrs, just to see if it worked! Being able to open up the bunk ends helps immensely.

Should you run it from time to time to keep it working properly ???
