Another Refrigerator Thread - Dometic 702

I searched many other threads related to my refrigerator issues. They were insightful but didn't solve my refer issue.

Brand new (2016) 2902ws. I have used the refrigerator both electric and LP with no issues. I typically leave refer on at home with shore power. My last trip refer had right two lights flashing. I realize its some overheat issue. I checked all fuses, thermofuse reset and all electrical connections. I unhooked all power to try and reset it and cycled it on many times with various button presses.

I now have scheduled mobile repair.

Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated.

The two lights flashing means that the burner flue has overheated and blown the thermofuse. How did you check the thermofuse?

I may be wrong, but I don't think you can reset the thermofuse once it trips. It will have to be replaced. One thing you need to try and figure out is why it opened in the first place.

There have been instances of the board going bad and flashing the lights, so keep that in mind also.

I just checked to see if the button has popped out. I probably need to put a meter on it.

We had a very hot few days late last week and the sun was beating (SW exposure) on the refer. I had gone in to switch from electric to propane and never noticed the lights until I pulled into CG.

I just spoke to a Dometic svc. tech and he said the same thing. He told me a few items to look for and to completely disconnect the 12v at battery to do a hard reset. Then to start it up with LP. AND monitor it carefully in case there is a blockage somewhere.
