I didn't want to risk scuffing or overheating the surface of the fiberglass with an abrasive disc "scrubber", so I used 3M General Purpose Adhesive Cleaner.
Wear gloves (and a respirator if you're indoors). I applied the solvent sparingly, let it soak a bit, and used plastic putty knives. After 15 years, I only needed to replace the main logo decals. Although the large swoosh decals on the sides had shrunken slightly, a light wipe with the cleaner removed the traces of gunk on the receding edges, brought the color back, and made them look good as new.
