Battery box

I saw this in another post somewhere and decided to check mine. There are two self tapping screws in the bottom of my battery box whose heads appear to be taller than the ridges the battery sits on. They would eventually damage the battery case. I cut a thick nylon cutting board to size and put it under the battery to raise it above the screw heads. Also, I found the battery box drain pipe did not have a screen to keep insects out, so I added one of those, too, using some nylon screen and a zip tie.Click image for larger version
