Bike Rack on the back of a Geo Pro 19FBS
Has anyone installed/welded a bike rack onto the back of a Geo Pro 19FBS?

Just so you know, any such modification may void the frame warranty. Check your paperwork.
Bile racks aren't welded to the trailer. What is done, is a receiver is welded and braced to the frame and bumper. Then a bike rack with a 2" stinger, is attached to the receiver.

the GeoPro's I have seen have a tongue mount bike rack. I have the impression it is an option....

Yep, the Lippert Jack-It is a GeoPro/EPro option.

Just saw this video earlier today. Start at 35:03. He has a rear mounted bike rack cause the Lippert Jack-it interfered with the camper shell on his truck.

That's what I thought so I was confused by the suggestion of the Curt bolt-on receiver.

My receiver hitch was factory installed and is 150# capacity. I just had an interesting exchange with the manufacturer of a hitch I just picked for my recumbent trike.

"Any trailer or trailered vehicle (including 5th wheel type) has a slight side to side motion that's very low frequency (1 to 1-1/2 times per second) that fatigues the steel from which the racks are manufactured.
The fatigue first happens at a molecular level, but eventually (several thousands of cycles later) a visible crack will appear. Once the crack has formed, it will enlarge, finally to the point where the rack drops off the vehicle and the rack (and bikes) impact the roadway.
This is also a dangerous situation for whoever may be following the trailer on the highway.
We have seen 100+ incidents where the consumers/end user has not taken this advice and suffered disastrous results.
I've even had phone calls from consumers who said they read that advice (do not use on a trailer) and ignored it, only to discover a tragic end result.
So . . . don't do it. If you insist on doing it regardless of the above, please use some other companies’ rack. "

There is no rear bumper, but there is a metal plate very near the rear of the vehicle. I’d love to find something that can mount to that. Living in Minnesota, as I do, my unit is in storage for the winter and not readily accessible to me to measure. But I would very much like to find a way to mount a bike rack on the rear of the RV.

mcclayton, I know that plate you speak of, under and forward of the back wall of the trailer box. I'll try to remember to go out in the daylight tomorrow and examine it. I gotta say, the Jackit bike rack that came with my trailer is very sturdy and I like being able to glance back and see bikes are secure in transit. When at camp, I removed the 'Y' portion, and have one of those bolt-on hitch receivers I attach to the top of the Jackit bracket, which I insert my hitch receiver flagpole mount in.

I would love to have a hitch mounted bike rack. I’m not completely opposed to the one that mounts on the A-frame, but this just seems more versatile.
Has anyone tried this receiver on a GeoPro?

Receiver Hitch
Hey there, Im looking for the same set up with a receiver hitch on my Geo Pro so I can put my e-bikes on the back. With my two bikes and rack its 150lbs so not a lot. I asked the dealer and they referred me to a hitch installer who wants to make a custom mount bar to weld to the frame. Curious if anyone out there has done this and how they did it?
Welding seems like it would be stronger but then not easy access to tanks if any issues with those in the future.
I think its a miss that rock work is only installing the bike rack on the front whereas it seems more logical to have it as an option on the back.
