We have had both and prefer the booth. More comfortable, extra storage and extra bed if needed

Our previous RV had a table/chairs setup and our current rig has a big booth. We actually prefer the table and chairs because it's nicer to use while dining and you have the ability to use the chairs exactly where you want them. We ended up buying our current unit from dealer stock and they had it set up with the booth, so we decided we would just live with it. It does provide extra storage under the seats, and more storage is always nice. It also folds down to a nice size bed and that has already come in handy a couple times. I think that we would still get the table and chairs if it was easy to do, but we don't dislike the booth enough to tear it out and put in a table instead.
I should note that our rig has a pretty good size booth. I think I would like it less if it were a smaller size. My two kids still camp with us when they can, but they are adults, so being able to fit the four of us in the booth can be important. We eat outside a lot, but not always.

It’s personal preference. We’ve had both. The booth is good if you need the extra bed but I prefer the table and chairs for comfort. Like cc102bob said, you can move and use the chairs in other places. The booth does have the advantage (usually) of providing extra storage. Rockwood typically gives you outside storage under the booth.

Always table and chairs here, booth way to restricting for comfort in my opinion. Really only good for sitting in a single position. No real lounging ability.

Had both. Never liked the booth as it was hard to get in and out of, especially if there is more than two of you. Also the booth is just uncomfortable.
Prefer table and chairs. Easier to use, more comfortable, and we can move them wherever we want easily.

Table & chairs here. Much easier to sit down and adjust the chair. We have a 35 ft 5th wheel and as I always say, it's just comfortable for 2 people, although we can sleep more if we have to. Beside my wife has had both knees and hips replaced and it's much easier for her to sit on the chairs.

We converted our trailer from table/chairs to a booth.
One big reason is that I put bicycle mounts on the plywood of the seats to carry our bikes inside the trailer when we travel. And we appreciate the extra storage.

We have a table. I'm actually going to be pulling two of the chairs out and replace them with a storage bench this year. The ones we're replacing are the ones right against the slide wall. With the table bolted in place there is not a lot of room to manueuver in and out of those chairs and I think a bench will be just the ticket (plus more storage!). You just have to be careful and do your research - make sure the weight capacity of the bench is appropriate for who will be sitting there. YMMV
