Thank you, thank you, thank you, Radio.

I just came in from adjusting my slide. It wasn't rubbing quite as hard as yours, but in the colder weather it was having a tough time passing the window on the front of the slide. Moved the slide back about 1/4", problem solved.

Without your pictures, I'm not sure I would have attempted to make the adjustment.

Out slide mech is an M-Tec and is a little different than yours, but the same adjustment was possible. and Yes you can adjust them up and down.

Thank you one more time!

midnightpumkin (a.k.a. large 12:00 am squash)

You're welcome!

Glad to see what I went through was of benefit to someone. I was so overjoyed that I was able to fix it myself I just thought I'd tell everybody.

Radio how tight is your slide when closed? Mine is about one inch out and the seal is not at all that pinched. It seems like it should be tighter that it is. When pulling my slide in I stop as soon as I hear gears grin. Do you go farther than that before you stop?

Mine seems fairly snug all the way around. And that's not gears grinding, that's a clutch slipping and it's supposed to do that.

At least on mine anyway!

I have a 06 21ss roo my slide needed to be adjusted but it's a little different than the pictures above. If anybody has a trailer like mine just make sure that when you extend the slide out before you losen the bolts to put a couple of jacks under the slide or it will drop about a half of an inch, learned the hard way.......

I have a 8283 Rockwood. I have a similar problem, mine scrubs at the top, the window, but at the bottom it's fine. Don't know if it needs an adjusment or if it has some other issue. Has anyone had the same problem?
