Can't find source of leak - Rockwood 5ver

Trailer in question is a 2009 Rockwood 8280SS 5ver.

This has the rear "u" shaped kitchen with the fridge on the back wall and the pantry in the corner beside it.

After a good rain I will find water on the floor in the little cabinet/compartment under the panty. Pantry seems all dry. All the seams at the roof/rear cap/fridge vent have been sealed up with eternabond tape.

I have managed to fine every other leak this trailer has ever had - always at the end cap seams, but this one has me stumped cold.

Ideas?

Did you check the tail lights or marker lights!

I had that issue on a trailer I had several years ago.

I have examined them visually and the caulk seems to be intact, along with the caulk on the ladder attachments. But I might pull them off and have a looky-see.

I'm not seeing a trail left from water moving down the inside. That would be helpful.

Check the back window and the refrigerator vent on the roof. Our 2013 Flagstaff had a leak in the back window. It was on the counter so I was able to identify it easily. If it's coming in through the fridge vent on the roof, it can make its way anywhere.

Have one person spray a certain area with a hose and another inside looking for leaks. That way you can eliminate where it is NOT coming from. We did this at work to find water leaks on trucks. Jay

We have an 8280 as well and I had a similar problem however it was on the other side. It turned out to be a small hole under the eve trough (the little plastic drain running along the upper edge of the unit on both sides.) How did I find it? First I checked to see that the rain guard was neither plugged nor leaking anywhere and then I started at the back corner and dabbed caulking on every one of the screw heads holding the rain guard. Now no leak.

That's where my only leak came in. Pulled the caps off and resealed them. One just had a small gap where the water came in. Worth a shot.

If power comes in by back rear corner, I would check that seal. Found mine leaking. There was no sealant around the cover plate, just a rubber gasket underneath. Pull all the screws, if they're rusty, you got water. New seal and screws should solve the problem.

Some good points here. now to schedule the time to deal with it.

2018 is turning out to be the year of fixing stuff.
