CH751 key
From a previous post
"If you have a CH751 key you can open every storage compartment on every camper in the campgound unless the lock was changed by the owner."
Where can you buy new locks? Has anyone changed out the locks and are they universal fit?

Heck, we can start the forklift in our warehouse with it. I haven't changed mine out but don't keep anything in the storage compartments that is valuable by any means. However, if you do, then it would be advisable to change them. Any hardware store should have a replacement lock that will fit the opening.

Any decently-supplied RC Dealer accessory department should also carry replacement, individually keyed, cam locks in various shaft lengths.

Go to your local lock smith, I got 2 Barrel cam lock untis and had them keyed the same and even got sealed dust covers for them. I think I paid abt 40 bux for the locks and covers.

I have not changed my locks. If a person wants into your camper it does not matter what lock you have on. Having worked with locks for the past 15 years I could get into your camper with the 2 barrel cam locks in less then 60 seconds. I would not use my ability to get past your locks but a lock only keeps an honest person out. I someone want in your camper they will get in.

Yep. One of my mods were to change the storage compartment locks.
It will only keep the Honest Thieves out.

I don't bother changing out the locks. Even if you do change out the locks, I can get in your storage compartment in seconds with a big screwdriver.
The moral of the story, don't keep super valuables in there.

Like many have said, locks only keep the honest people (or thieves) out. If someone really wants your stuff and it is locked, like Mr. Black said, they will break something to get it. Better to let them have it rather than breaking something and they still get it.

Easier said than done when the stogage compartment opens into the bedroom under the bed which even has hyd helper struts to help them out.

I want to change my locks simply cause that ch751 key is a pain in the rear to use.
Mike is that CW set allow you to remove the key. I know I've seen in the other post some set's don't let you remove the key
