Changed Tow Vehicles

Come Saturday, I will have to update my personal information here on the forum as well as my signature. The DW and I took the plunge yesterday and bought a new tow vehicle.

First thing I want to say is I absolutely love my Ecoboost F-150 Supercrew 4X4 and it has served us well pulling the Windjammer. But it's one drawback is it can't tow our future fiver. That is probably still a couple of years away but we got such a great trade in value for a low mileage truck (34,000 miles on a 2011 model), that we could not pass up this deal.

On Saturday we pick up our Ram 2500 Crew Cab 4X4 diesel. We are very excited to bring home the new TV and to use it on our first trip Easter weekend. Does anyone know where I can find a set of Nerf bars or running boards that have a decent "drop" below the door/frame. The DW is challenged to get up into the cab as it sits right now.

Congrats on the new vehicle and I hope you enjoy your Ram as much as I do. Nice choice. I have used a company called running board warehouse several times for different vehicles. You could look them up on google. They have lots of different styles.

you might just want to look at whats on peoples trucks before you purchase something to see just how much of a drop they have.

I have a 2006 2500 and I put amp power steps on it. Lower than any fixed step will be. I love them.
