Changes to 2010 Ultra-lites in middle of production year

Has anyone noticed that they have made a few changes to the 2010ultralites?
We just ordered a 2604SS last week and from the time we looked at one at the dealership to the time we ordered from RV direct(3 weeks) we noticed that they have changed some things. They now have black around the windows on the inside and outside, the flooring is a totally different vinyl and on the Expresso interior the back of the couch has a pattern that matches the valances. I don't really care for the black trim around the windows. I guess it will grow on me. I am kind of dissapointed that the flooring has changed since that is why we went with Expresso because it looked better with the flooring that was in the trailer that we actually looked at. I do like the back of the couch having a pattern on it. I hope we like it when we pick it up. Not much we can do about it. I just wonder why they change things in the middle of the year. Also, does anyone know why some of the 2604ss trailers come with panelled doors and some have just a flat slab door?

Here are some pictures that show the black trim around the windows and doors and the new flooring in the model that we ordered. This one is the Saddle interior with Cherry cabinets. We ordered Oak and Expresso. If you want to see a picture of the Expresso interior that shows the couch, let me know.
I can't find a picture of the trailer you ordered. Maybe they didn't change anything on the fifth wheels. Hope yours comes in just the way you ordered it. I know that on the bottom of our order sheet from RV direct it states that they are not responsible for any changes that the factory makes.

We ordered ours in May and got it in June. Looking at the darker interior cabinets and the black windows, I am glad we did not get them. The front power jack would have been nice, but I have one that I i have been transferring from trailer to trailer since 1989. It's an Atwood.

We thought we would like the Cherry but after actually seeing it in person, in our opinion it looks really cheap. Im so glad we actually looked at it before ordering it. Having said that, everyone likes something different. To each his own. Im sure alot of people hate the oak.

About your question on the difference between Signature Ultralites and Ultralites - we saw both with the black trim. I will get used to it. It just reminds me of a trailer we had in 1995 and I really liked the fact that the new one had white trim. Guess we should have ordered it a few months earlier.

I looked at the 2010's when i brought my 09 in for service a few weeks ago and that black trim was the first thing i noticed. My opinion is that it looks pretty good since it's brand new, but give it a year and i guarantee you'll have black streaks coming off it below every one of the windows. I think the white around the windows is a much better idea.

Black trim has been around for many years. No black streaks as they come from roof. Bonus is it does not yellow or would you see the pink mold one gets on the white rubber window seals

Hi-

FWIW, I think the black trim looks just as nice as the white trim. I have an '09 so we have the white trim. However, I think Dezolen hit it on the head. In a few years after the trim is not so new, the black will hide mold and discoloration much better than the white. There must be a trend back to the black trim because we saw several new trailers out this past weekened and I noticed they had black trim. Don't remember which one's specifically (but they weren't Rockwoods).

As for the new floor, that new vinyl color matches the cherry nicely - and I can imagine it would with the oak... I would have wanted to the darker vinyl too though. We have the '09 Espresso interior, with the darker Vinyl floor and we get so many compliments on the floor and the interior in general.

Best of luck to you!

My husband agrees with you about the black hiding dirt and such and not yellowing. I guess it's not that bad. I wish it wasn't black on the inside of the windows though. I really don't like that.
I hope I like the new flooirng. It just looks pinkish in the pictures but it's hard to tell from that.

Does anyone know what Im talking about with the doors? Is your bathroom door a raised panelled door or is it just a slab. We saw a few pictures where the door was not raised and it looks so cheap. Im trying to make sure that our rep. has them put in a raised door especially with our model because it has a door from the living area to the bathroom and then another door to the bedroom so you really notice the doors.

I think you will be happy with black on inside as we were not sure either. Now I prefer it. It grows on you in no time
