Combine grey tanks?

Our 2017 Windjammer 3006WK has two 45 gallon grey tanks. One tank is for the kitchen sink, bathroom sink, and shower. The other is for the outdoor kitchen sink only. We hardly use the outdoor kitchen sink, and it is a waste of a 45 gallon tank.

Is it possible to connect the tanks together to use the full 90 gallon capacity? Has anyone done it?

Any input is appreciated.

Combine grey tanks?

Do they share a sewer connection/outlet on the side of the camper?

If so, get a Valterra twist-on end of line valve. You can then leave it closed and open both handles to allow the water to equalize between the tanks.

No, the kitchen and bath grey tank shares the rear outlet with the black tank.

The grey tank for the outdoor kitchen has its own outlet and valve near the front of the trailer.

You’d have to plumb them together. Lots of examples here on the forum talking about tying the outlets together.

There have been a few recent mentions of tying an extra tank in. Seems like some PVC to the sides of each tank. That is, if there is a clear run between the two.
