Unhappy Conditioning and lubrication of slide out seals

I saw something about this today but now I can't find it!! I'd like to know how often and what product is best.

Thanks!

There are plenty of slide seal conditioners and they all work pretty well. Pick the one you like best.

I use 3-In-One rubber seal conditioner, but others are good also. I apply it about every six months.

Seal conditioner

3 in 1 sounds like it is not specific to RV slide-out seals, and as a result, probably not as expensive. Shipping from Camping World was almost as much as a can of RV Seal Conditioner.
Thank you.

3-in-One RV care rubber seal conditioner

3-in-One RV care rubber seal conditioner is available at Walmart cheaper than the rubber seal conditioners at Camping World.

Good to know, and not surprising.

This is what I use but as stated, find one you like.
Tips, after sides are deployed or retracted, check to insure the wipers have flipped. If not, I use a yardstick or an awning retraction rod to gently slide behind and flip. If not checked, the wipers will take a set and reduce sealing capacity.
Use the conditioner as often as needed because exposer to the sun will age them and stiff wipers in the winter will cause them to crack. I usually spray the outside every quarter and the inside every 6 months.
Remember to condition the inside wipers as well, probably not as often as outside wipers.

I use the same product as Garrette recommended from Amazon

https://www.amazon.com/Premium-Slide...7305492&sr=8-2

Sprays on like a foam - I only use it twice a year, once when closing camping for winter and once when opening in the spring.

Good Luck!

X3 for 303. Have used it on all four of our TTs, and on many vehicles as well over the years. And I also buy it by the gallon - great product!!!
