In-laws have a front windshield and 7 years in never an issue. We just discovered a 1” crack 2 years in (and a broken rock gaurd) this week. Had it filled by a mobile guy, and probably ordering a cover now…still impressed the windshield guy was willing and able to fix it!

I have that cover and love it. Keeps my camper darker and helps insulate.

If I ever get this window replaced I would definitely look into a cover. The motor home dealer I found in Connecticut has done hundreds of motorhome windshields, but after a couple weeks of studying the install manual from Rockwood for this window, told me that he did not feel comfortable touching something like this for fear of having problems afterwards with leaks or it cracking again.
Has anyone had a windshield like this replaced somewhere in the New York/ Connecticut /Massachusetts/Pennsylvania vicinity and had success?
