NOPE!
They are made on the same assembly line, in the same factory.
Same standard features and options.
Same furniture except fabric colors/patterns.
Same insulation.
Same tires.
Same walls and frames.
Same wood for cabinets.
Have ever you ever owned or been in Rockwood and Flagstaff models?
I have many times and owned a Rockwood model.
Many RV manufacturers have twin brands, including Winnebago.

I've seen you mention these three different brands before, without naming the brands. How about naming them.
Many brands have similar floor plans but use different materials and items and quality levels. But Rockwood/Flagstaff isn't one of them.

As I understand it, the identical in all but name brands exist so that a dealer can be the exclusive dealer for a brand within a certain geographical area. So for where I live (Longmont CO), I can't find another Flagstaff dealer other then where I bought (LazyDays RV). But I can find other Rockwood dealers.

I haven't taken the time to do the head to head comparisons myself, but during my research for my new camper (was to be either a Flagstaff 21DS or Rockwood 2104s, sister models) I read that the Rockwoods had higher resale values in spite of being the same as the Flagstaff models because of better/more name recognition. Didn't move me to Rockwood. For me, the shopping difference was more than cosmetic in the sense that the Rockwood dealers were much more willing to negotiate than the Flagstaff folks were. Their initial pricing offers were identical, but when it came down to negotiations, the Rockwood people gave me what I wanted. The Flagstaff people didn't. So I bought a Rockwood and have been super happy with it.

As fictional as it is, price differences in MSRP varied slightly based on timing of manufacture, price for freight varied WIDELY, of course the dealerships closer to Indiana was lower.

There are WAY more Rockwood dealers than Flagstaff dealers.
So there's more price competition on Rockwoods.

Remember all sales people lie! Don't be afraid to order it if you can wait 6-8 weeks. Pick the fabrics and colors you like

They are Heartland Elkridge, Sundance and Prowler...and they come off of the same assembly line, too!

All three identical in many ways...yet so different in as many other ways.

I have a 2015 Heartland Prowler P292 (Lite model), the Elkridge E292 is the top model with the Sundance S292 being the mid-level.

The new version of them is the P, E & S 293...and lost the bedroom slide.

And, just because RV's come off of the same assembly line or are identical in lots of ways to each other (Rockwood and Flagstaff), there are probably some differences that you can't see with the naked eye just standing there and looking at them without tearing it apart.

We looked at both Flagstff Micro Lites and Rockwood Mini Lites. BOTH dealers told us they are identical in build - just different decor. If there was a difference I’m certain the dealers would have been happy to point them out to try to convince us theirs was the best!

To the OP - unless you will be using your TT during the fall and winter, don’t buy it this year. You really will waste your warranty. You won’t see all the problems (if any) on a walk-through. You’ll find them when you’re camping.

Since I have never owned a Heartland product, I have no idea if they have any twin brands. So I won't comment.

But I have owned a Rockwood for 10 years and have been in many Rockwood and Flagstaff models. I have talked to Rockwood/Flagstaff reps and warranty personnel. The factory that makes both brands, ONLY makes Rockwood and Flagstaff models. I have also been involved with many Rockwood and Flagstaff owners, on various RV forums, for 15 years.
So I can with authority, that they are the same exact trailer, except outside graphics and interior decor colors/patterns.

Rock vs Staff

I've been to the factory...twice. watched them being built. Saw the stacks of frames, walls, roofs. Saw, and touched, sofas and dinettes.

They are the same.

They build one model at a time. They accumulate orders until they can make a run of one model. A popular model may take 2 or 3 days for a run. A less popular one only 1 day. Rockwood and Flagstaff units are intermixed on the line.

Smaller units such as hybrids or mini lites...they make up to 30 per day
Larger units like ultra lites maybe 15 to 20.

They are the same.

Thanks, i have no idea why JohnD10 is arguing about Rockwood/Flagstaff, when he's never owned one and comparing model lines from a different RV manufacturer.

No problem. But shouldn't a person your age be in bed? It's like 230am in your part of the world.

Ok. Guess I'm more of the stereotypical old guy....
In bed by 9 or 10, up at 4 or 5.
Hard to break a 30 year routine in retirement.

Yep, became a night owl in college, 46 years ago and never changed.
The DW is a artist/musician and a bigger night owl than me.
So we're well matched.[emoji6]

Yep. Rockwood and Flagstaff are basically the same as noted. I was even told this when I was comparing the two before buying my Flagstaff.

You can just look at the brochures and see this, as both brochures are even the same page wise. Here are some from my type of RV, and you can see they are the same.

http://www.forestriverinc.com/brochu...tebrochure.pdf

Look at pages 14-19 of both brochures, as they are identically constructed in every way. You can just open up both brochures in two windows/tabs and view the same pics in a lot of them. Even have the same pic of workers constructing them both. LOL
