Digital TV
I just bought a new Windjammer. We have taken 3 trips in it and I cannot figure out how to get digital tv channels to come in.
I turn on the amplifier and the green light comes on. I also run a cable from the outlet by the power switch to he tv. Then I set the tv source to antenna and scan for channels. It does not find any.
I’ve been just north of Denton, just west of Tyler, and just outside of Georgetown; all in Texas. All these locations should be close enough to metropolitan areas where digital channels would be available.
Just wondering if I am doing something wrong. Any suggestions?

The light on the amplifier should be off if connected to cable or satellite. The amplifier is for antenna use only.

I see I misread your post. Shouldn't be a need to run a cable for local.

Sounds like you are using the right process.
Next would be to remove the wall plate and start checking connections.
Under warranty?

Some TVs had separate options to digital and analog tuning. Did you check this?
I have no idea how strong of signal you have in those areas but unlike the old days where you could at least get a poor picture, with digital it is good or nothing.
if your switch plate has 2 outlets try both in case they are mis-labeled or mis-wired

In my rig....there’s also a selector switch to choose antennae, park cable (connected with coax into one of my cargo bays) or satellite (if you have one)
The green booster light should ONLY be on for antennae.
If the TV was factory install.....it should have coax connector on the back already...no need to run coax from TV to connector beside the booster button.

I found that turning on the surround sound helps with the signal reception.

Don't know why but I was in a rural area with poor reception if someone went into the bathroom picture would become sort of scrambled. When the power was turned on to the DVD/radio the picture stayed and there were more channels available.
