Dump Levers for Both Grey and Black Water Tanks

Hello all, we are new to this forum and to using our 2019 Rockwood Ultra Lite 2606WS trailer. We purchased it used and we live in CT. We have 2 grey water tanks and one black water tank. The black water outlet and release valve is obvious toward the rear. Towards the front of the trailer we have a seperate grey water outlet with a release valve marked "galley." It looks like it does not connect to the the black water at all to help clean the line. We cannot find the release valve to the second grey water tank (bathroom). Can someone let us know where it is located and is it connected to the black water tank as in other trailers? Do we need to connect the foremost front galley grey tank to the black water dump hose with a Y connector for ease in dumping? Please share your process and tips on dumping this make of trailer for all 3 tanks. Thank-you for your help.

We just move the hose from the black to the grey after the black valve is closed.

There should be a valve for the bath gray.

Look at the black tank discharge connection and start tracing it back, there should be about a 2" line tapped into it, this is the batch gray. Start tracing the 2" line back to find the valve.

On my Flagstaff this was easy to see, on my Grand Design they are above the coroplast and cable operated and not visible without opening the bottom.

I agree with just moving the hose to the galley gray to dump it, before or after doesn't matter as you use the bath gray to flush our the hose.

Dump the black tank, leave valve open, pour water down shower drain, see if water then exits through open black water valve!

As to the Y yes many use a Y connector to connect two sewage outlets (2 blacks or a black and grey, or two greys).

2606WS Tank Valves

I have a 2022 2606WS with 2 grey tanks and there are separate valves on this year/model. Front kitchen grey valve (Separated) and bath grey connected by pipe to the black tank with 2 separate valves. The grey pull is about 12"-18" to the left of the black pull valve. There is also another pull valve just behind the rear wheels, I assume this is the fresh tank drain.

I've never seen a valve on a fresh water tank. Normally it's just a cap at the end of a hose dangling under your RV. Remove the cap and tank drains. Chances are the valve is for one either your black tank or 1 of your gray tanks.

Do not pull any valve if you only "assume" it is for a particular thing!

For what it's worth, our 235S has a valve for the fresh water tank dump, attached flat against the coroplast underbelly panel. White valve and white pull handle. This is in addition to the two low point drains in the driver's rear corner for the hot and cold sides of the system.

Our 2022 model year 2019s has a gate valve on the fresh water tank, pointing straight down thru the underbelly material, for dumping/draining. All white in color.

To the op: if you haven’t found the second gray water tank valve, check the passenger side behind stair.

Have a 2608 and I have two tanks for grey. One is up front of the axcels mid ship and valve is to the right of the sewer line hook up point. The second is behind the axcels, black valve is to the right of the sewer line hook up point. The valve for the grey tank is to the left of the hook up point at the same location. Smaller valve handle and piping. Happy camping

i have the same rig the other grey tank valve is right next to the black tank one. the two are connected to a common outlet - mines hard to see as the handle does what not mounted in the same direction as the black tank handle - buts it there. I dump the black first then the rear grey since its the shower and bath sink and relatively clean them move the hose to the front grey which is the kitchen sink. I find its alot easier to just move the hoses instead of wye fitting as out of 10 times it never reaches or i have to bye more hose and fittings, Since you have to bend over to open the valve its not hard to connect the hose at the same time.
