Electrical and plumbing issues - 2017 Minilite 2509s

This unit has been rock solid for 11 months, and luckily it’s still under warranty, but I do have a couple questions around some issues we’re experiencing this weekend.

1. When we try to turn on the outside LEDs or the outside scare light, the fuse for the interior lights blows. Nothing else was on at the time except for the fridge. We are on shore power, 30 AMP service, with a surge protector.

2. We’re hooked up to city water. The water pressure to all three sinks, and the tub, is fine. However the toilet has no pressure. Water is still getting to it and coming out of the nozzle, but it’s just a trickle. Any thoughts on what to quickly check? We have a filter on the water line and a pressure regulator.

Like I said, the unit will go in for service shortly but I sure would like to have a working toilet and outside lights for the remainder of the weekend.

I'll take a shot at #2. Most units have a screen in the water connection at the back of the toilet. That screen can become plugged - probably from flakes from the water heater. Turn off city water; release pressure by opening a faucet; unscrew input water fitting at rear of toilet; clean screen; replace and test. Apologies if your unit doesn't have this screen.

That fixed it! Profound thanks from my husband and me. Now we just need to figure out why a fuse is blowing for seemingly no reason.

That sounds like you have a short to ground on the circuit. Will require some troubleshooting with a multi-meter.
