Entrance steps

Just wondering if anyone has changed out the terrible entrance steps on the Rockwood mini lite 2304s with the steps that fold up into the trailer?
If you have, was it a big problem to do the change out, problems with them, and cost of one with 2-3 steps, two steps are standard. Thinking of making it a winter project.

Switched out the steps 2 years ago. It took about an hour and the hardest part was removing the old steps. Wife and I think this was one of the best improvements we made. Steps are very stable and easy to use. Only problem is it gets a little more dirt in the camper when you fold them up. a broom fixes that. we have a 2016 2340DS

I finally broke down and installed a set of MORrydes "Step Above" steps earlier this year at my brides request. The correct steps are not so much based on model, but door dimensions and height of the door sill. Your best bet is to go to the MORryde site and use their "Step Qualifier" to get the right steps. They will talk you through all the measurements you need to take. I installed the MORryde STP-3-30-04H set. Got the steps from Walmart. Cost was around $272.00 delivered to the store. Installation took about 20 minutes. Did not have to do any trimming to the screen door or outside door.
