Yes we did this past weekend. Got the new puma 30kdb out for it's maiden voyage so we stayed close to home but everything when perfect with the tt but the wd hitch they through in deal was allowing a lot of bounce so took it in today and come to find out they put the 800 lb bars on and should of put on the 1000 lb bars. So they swapped them out and it eliminated the problem.

You are so lucky to be able to get out again so quickly in your new trailer. Where are you staying in Santa Cruz and does it has full hook ups?

We are staying at Smithwoods RV Resort. It's actually in Felton off Hwy 9. There are quite a few places in this area. All are 15 minutes from the Boardwalk.

Yep, had our first trip out last weekend too. We picked up our 3065w on Friday and found a campground 10 miles away and stayed the weekend. Going out again next weekend too. Can't wait.

We are very excited. We are picking up our new 2013 Rockwood 2109S from our local RV dealer today. Plan to try it out this weekend at our Ohio State Park Campground.

Yes! We our taking our new Roo 233S on the May 24 weekend (the unofficial start of the Canadian summer). We are going to a local city owned park with elec. and water hook-up. It will be a good first trip only a half hour from home in case we forget anything.

Looking forward to it.

We are heading out for our first trip tomorrow with our 2012 Forest River 2604. We are not going far. This is more or less a shake down trip. Going to River View, Loveland Colorado. Let you know when I get back how things worked out. Having read a lot of threads about Rockwood trailers I am having certain negative images.. tires blowing etc. Also got a Evolution Edge CS for my 2008 Ford f-150 Lariat 5.4L, set it up with tow package see how that preforms. Later

Here is a pic before we left for the Ca Delta over the Memorial weekend. Second trip complete. My only issues is weak sounding speakers outside and in the bedroom if they work at all. I'm planning on pushing for replacement of radio in the fall. The two separate rooms and quad bunks fit this family of 5 perfectly.

Well he trip is over and overall everything went well. Only two issues, which really didn't have anything to do with the trailer itself. We got a pull thru spot, we told the park personnel that we were new to this trailer thing, but were experienced campers, he led us with his golf cart to the spot. Showed us where to park. After he left, we found out that the black water hose was a little bit short of the effluent hole, naturally I had already decoupled. Got that resolved, move trailer back. After "leveling" the trailer and deploying the electric landing gear, trailer still not quite level. Did not bring various thickness of boards to put under the tires on the side that is low. However, thought with electric landing gear, which appear to work in unison, I believe if the boards were under the tires I would have the landing gear, on the board side, would not be in touch with ground. Is my logic correct? The Edge CS unit, tuned for towing worked real well. MPG wasn't anything to write about, 11.8 mpg, but the shift points were definitely changed and the shift was done faster as far as shifting speed, but kept the gear in longer before shifting to the next. Planning next trip in about two weeks.

We absolutely love our V-Lite 30 WTBS which is the brother trailer to your Windjammer. The layout is awesome with the master bath in the back. No other floor plans out there like it. Hope you enjoy yours as much as we love ours. Our first time out was Memorial Weekend as well and we leave Monday for a 4 night getaway.

Enjoy!

Hey, pbrackney what part of MI are you in. I grew up in Gr and the surrounding areas. Then moved to Ca for my new business of 10 years. Hey look I have a pick like yours. Too funny.

We leave in southeast Michigan, in Woodhaven. The pic is like ours. Very funny.

Ready to take out our new 5er for the first trip in mid May. Very excited but then had to travel for business. Yikes!

Memorial day Friday, first trip, we were set up by a river in the Adirondacks by 11 am when I woke up in Istanbul on Thursday. What a rush. Love the Rockwood.

Going back this weekend and leave for Sao Paulo Brazil Monday morning. Work just gets in the way!
