FR Mini lite Tongue Weight

Strongly considering the purchase of Rockwood Mini Lite 2507 as it's got most things I'm looking for in a TT with out being too heavy or large. The only number Im not liking is the 684 # tongue weight dry. My TV has a 1780 payload limit so I'm looking to keep the tongue at 900 or less
Anyone out there that can share how high that weight goes in real life. I'd likely have 2 6v batteries on the tongue as well.
I was wondering if the fresh water tank sat behind the axles allowing the fine tuning of the tongue weight.
Also curious if that frame can hold a rear bike rack

I will save you the sermon of dry weights. I don’t have a 2507, I have a 2509 that shares the frame and forward of the axles is almost an identical trailer to the 2507. In the rearmyou add that great big bath and awesome outside kitchen pm we have a smaller bath and outdoor kitchen but have bunks. The TW on the 2509 is a little heavier than the 2507, by around 25 lbs. I have a ˝ ton truck with similar payload. I use an equalizer WDH and on the scales I am 250 lbs below my max payload, I am 150 below max axle weight up front and 700 below in the rear axle. Between the family and family pets we put 500 lbs on the truck’s cab and around 150 lbs in the bed. Currently only have one 12v battery. These weights were with the LPtanks full and all other tanks empty. I hope this helps! Most of the weight added to us in the trailer is sitting over the axles or in front, we only have about 100 or so lbs behind the axles.

Many thanks Atrider. This might be as close to a direct comparison that I'd ever see.
Where is your fresh water tank relative to the trailer axles. We frequently boondock so will likely need to carry water weight occasionally.
Would hope not to add that to the tongue

Looking at pics of a 2507 on line, it appears that the black and grey tanks are behind the axle, just like on my 2503S. So the FW tank will either be between or in front of the axles.

On my 2503S the FW tank is above the axles (drain is right between them). I piped it out to the side so I could drain without crawling underneath.

In the pic, you can see the gray tank just behind the wheels. The black tank is behind the grey. (Rear of trailer is to the right.)

I also have a 2508 with a dry weight of 650#

Loaded with full propane and 1 battery, I weighted in at 775#.

The camper was completely empty otherwise, even took out all the cords and other goodies. I bought a Sherline tongue scale to keep a check on my weights. Totally worth the $123.
