Front window tint mod

So my DW doesn’t like light when sleeping or in the morning. We ordered some blackout tint and put it in front window and it looks pretty good. It’s also nice that you can slide it under the plastic frame on the inside so you don’t have to be exact with the cuts. It kinda makes a nice headboard now.

That's a great idea. Where did you order it? I assume that you had to cut it to size?

I ordered a roll off amazon, Rabbitgoo Blackout Window Film No Glue, Total Light Blocking - Black Privacy Window Tinting Films for Room Darkening, Self Static Dark Window Glass Cling for Day Sleep & Security (35.4 x 78.7 inches) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07DNWY88Q..._A.gzEbDEFAQPG
The installation was okay, just get the window wet like installing on your car and slide it around. My son and I did it, it’s a large one piece, 51x20 or something similar. It doesn’t have to be perfectly cut since it can slide under the large plastic piece around the window.

Also, it may easier if you want to remove the large plastic piece. It doesn’t look to complicated to do, but we just pushed and pulled and slid it under around the edges.
