Fuse issue

We have a Forest River Rockwood Mini Lite 2109S
the top fuse in panel, 15 amp, labeled porch, controls interior lights, porch light and roll out canopy light strip. On our last trip after a few months in storage this fuse kept blowing. When parked no problem with fuse. As soon as I start towing the fuse blows again. After going through a few fuses I started pulling the fuse before towing and replacing when we set up in campground. Worked for a temporary solution but would like to find the reason for fuse blowing. Anyone had a similar issue?

Sounds like an intermittent short. There is a wire that shorts out when things are bouncing around. My first guess would be to look at the awning light wiring coming out the side wall and working its way through the framework to the light strip. Check for chafing at the hole in the wall. When you're parked, you can try bumping on the fixtures/walls/panels to see if you can cause the short. Opening the access panels and chasing wires looking for a sport where it could short out.

USUALLY the continuous hot wires only go to the switch that controls lights and devices. Since the OP's problem is a fuse that blows only when in motion I'd suspect the short is between the fuse and the switch that controls those devices.

Exception to this is is for things like dome lights and car horns where the the "ground" is switched.
