G12SRK Issues

We have rough roads in Saskatchewan, this little trailer has zero suspension. It started when the window covering rattled loose. Then the other day the AC unit rattled loose and the bolts sheared off. We lost the AC unit and later had to backtrack 40km to find it. Attached are pictures. Has anyone else had these issues?

Moved to the Rockwood sub-forum since the OP is asking for model-specific and it is a GeoPro trailer made by Rockwood.

Your trailer has a torsion suspension axle, as does all Rockwood/Flagstaff trailers.
Did you buy it new or used? It is not designed to be backcountry rig.

I was just asking since the marketing promotes an off-grid kind of camper.

This exact same thing happened to me. First the window covering, then the AC bolts sheared off. Few other things have rattled themselves loose as well including the microwave bolts and the fire extinguisher. I ended up reinstalling all the screws with an adhesive, dealer fixed the AC. As for the screws into the body panels it honestly looked like a tech just went ham with the drill and stripped the **** outta them, adhesive is holding well now. The dealer said the AC bolts were probably over torqued and sheared, I am skeptical and think they're just poor quality bolts but it has yet to happen again. Its funny they market these things as off road and off grid when mine never saw anything worse than a gravel road. Oh well.

It's also funny how they market them as towable with a mid-sized SUV.[emoji1787]

Oh absolutely. I tow it with a full size GMC 1500 and its well below my capacity but can absolutely tell its behind me. Especially in the hilly Rockies I live in. I towed it once with my wifes Cherokee Trailhawk with a 4000lb tow rating and it was not a pleasant experience. The tongue weight on these things is near 400lbs too when fully loaded due to so much weight being forward of the axle.
