I appreciate the time you spent and the post shows that the Type 924n is a Auto change over Gas valve.
As soon as you turn on the gas you chose which is the current Primary and Reserve.

When the Primary runs out and you get the red indication, you will move the control handle. At that point, the Reserve becomes the Primary and the indicator will show green. You can then remove the empty tank (without shutting off gas flow) and have it filled.

When the newly filled tank is re-installed, it becomes the Reserve. Don't mess with the valve at this point. Wait until the regulator shows red again. Then go to the previous step.

Great explanation plan and simple
The problem that I was facing was the Person at the dealership who gave a walk through. told me that my trailer did NOT have a crossover valve. I thought that was rather strange, because there was a sight glass and when the gas was on it was green. So i posted a picture of what model I had and I was told it was a cross over system. I verify that by a internet search of the Model and surly it was. Problem solve, misinformation at the dealership.
