Genesis Technologies GT3 Won’t power on

We’ve been using the GT3 DVD player/stereo in our 2013 Rockwood 2604 since we got it 2 1/2 years ago. It’s worked fine every time but this trip out it will not power on at all. The power button is lit red as it usually is in the off position. I assume since it is lit that means it has power. The tv is working fine. I’ve tried powering it on by manually pushing the button and by using the remote with fresh batteries. No luck. Does anyone have any suggestions? We can pull the unit when we get home but am hoping I’m overlooking an easy fix. Thanks for any help!

My irV did the same thing on my last outing. showed power but would never come on. I ended up going to fuse panel and pulled fuse and put back in and it worked after that. Don’t know why other than a reboot fixed it. Could have also removed power by removing 110 volt supply and turning off all 12 volt by the main disconnect switch, but found fuse without powering everything down.

Yup, always try a "cold" reboot on any digital device. Disconnect, count to ten, reconnect. It lets the gremlins escape.

Life is a cruel teacher. She gives the test first; the lesson then follows.
