Geo Pro 19bh
Hi, just picked up my Geo Pro 19bh last Friday. Really like it, but have a couple of questions.
First, I was told the solar panel and inverter would power everything but microwave and A/C. But I turned the fridge on to AUTO and could hear it clicking/sparking trying to run off propane. Shouldnt it run off the inverter by default if its on AUTO?
Second, as far as the inverter, where is it located? And do I need to manually turn it on? The control panel on the wall was working, so I'm assuming it was on?? Or was it just showing battery charge? I don't know a whole lot about solar and batteries, etc.
Third, after sitting for 3 days (fairly sunny most of the time) I went out yesterday and went inside and nothing would work. No lights or anything. Is there something I should be doing? I assumed it would always be continuously charging and lights, tv, fridge, etc. would always be ready to go. Did I assume wrong?
If anyone can explain how it all works, what I need to do or should have done, I am all ears.
Thank you!

Correct.

Fridge will work off shore power, or in absence of shore power on auto will revert to propane operation.

Yes, there should be a switch to turn it on. On my trailer it is adjacent the sofa/murphy bed, on a panel with USB ports. My inverter is hidden behind a panel in the left front outer cargo bay
As far as nothing running without shore power, make sure the battery disconnect switch under propane tanks/battery area is not switched off.

So the fridge won't run off the inverter? And is there a battery disconnect from the factory? I'll have to dig a little deeper into it.

No, the fridge is A/C or propane only. Look under the tongue of your trailer for a switch, the lever is red. Will be close to your trailer break away switch.

Camper has been sitting in the sun for 2 straight days. Nothing is working. Has one Interstate HD24-DP battery (12 volt). I hooked my charger up to it and it shows 6 volts and 95% charged but still no lights? I haven't done anything else to it.

If your 12 v battery is showing 6v, it is toast and would be more like completely discharged. Did you find the battery disconnect?

My inverter (GeoPro 19QB) is under the forward dinette seat.
One thing I found on mine is that the remote switch didn't initially turn off the inverter. Because of this the cooling fan on the inverter ran continuously draining the batteries if not on shore power.
For the remote to work the switch on the unit itself needs to be turned off. Once off the remote takes over and functions properly.
When on battery/solar only the only time I run the inverter is when I absolutely need to.

I had a similar issue with my 19FBS when I took it home from the dealer in August. I did several searches online and troubleshooting to try to get it to work. Finally, I had to physically take off the inverter panel and turned it off. Then I found the battery disconnect switch under the trailer jack and flipped it. Then I turned the inverter back on. Lights finally worked and I plugged into shore power to charge the batteries back up. Next year - I’m going to go off grid and see how it works with Solar. I never could get the WiFi ranger to work. Right now, I’m putting it in storage for winter and taking batteries out and trying to figure out how to protect the antennas when I put the cover on and taking the batteries out for storage so they don’t freeze.

This happened to me just the other day. I unplugged from shore power the day before, and the next day when I tried to turn on lights, I discovered I had no DC power at all, no tank level lights, no nothing. But the solar controller panel in the trailer was indicating batts at 90%.
The first thing I did was cycle the factory battery disconnect switch to off, then back to on. That did the trick! Evidently something was not making good contact in the disconnect switch? All I know is everything works fine now.

Spartan, I bought a plastic rectangular basket from the dollar store to cover the Wifi Ranger, and a soft rubber-like small square laundry basket from Walmart to invert and put over the TV antenna to protect the cover, worked out well. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Mainstays...White/37645733

That's correct as the OP's TT is a 19BH. However, most Geo Pros and E-Pros have a 3-way refrigerator:
* Auto Gas/Electric Refrigerator (E19BH, E19FBS & E19FD) (N/A E12RK)
* 3-Way Refrigerator (N/A E12RK, E19BH, E19FBS & E19FD)

I had issue with WIFI Ranger not working and only one wire was attached to switch. Remove the switch and have a look if 2 spades are connected or one may be hanging inside panel.

The inverter for the 19bh is under the dinette seat closest to the bunks. I had to hit the switch on that to get the remote button under the dinette (by where feet go) to work. We keep it off unless on shore power because it seems to draw a lot of power from the batteries.
Also, with the 19bh, the battery works with shore power or propane. It won’t run off the battery.
We love our GeoPro. Can’t wait for the season the begin!

My fridge is a 3 way, but "auto" only selects between AC and Propane. I have to toggle to get to switch to DC power. That being said, propane is way more efficient. I just use DC when I'm towing it.

Just noticed they put a different fridge in the 19QB. From the pics it looks smaller than mine, which goes from controls at just below eye level almost to floor (load center is below it).

Yeah, I guess I assumed they were all the same. You know what they say about assumptions...
