Geo Pro 20bhs customize Dinning seat storage?

Hi,

I checked out the dinning seat. At the bottom you can unscrew one of the screw and open it and store stuff in there. Was wondering if anyone got any advise or luck changing that out with a better ply wood or a better quality one? or should I just leave it as it is. Its very weak but its light. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone was able to maybe put a bracket on the two end so they can swing it up and down without having to move the board to get stuff under there?

Please let me know what bracet you use or did you change out the board also with a plastic board?

i put small squares of velcro on the corners facing where the table goes so the board doesn't slide when the cushion is on it. There's really no point in replacing that wood, it doesn't need to be super strong, that's what the dinette frame is for. No need for a bracket or hinge either.

thank you for the suggestioni so just put those sticky velcro on the two side next to the dinner table.
