Geo Pro outside griddle addon?

Hi,

Was wondering if anyone know if there is any addon so I can remove the grill on top so I can put like something on top so i can cook with my frying fan? Anything like that? or can i just put the frying fan ontop of the grill that it come with? I want to be able to boil water also with a cooking pan.

I always just used a square frying pan like this one, right on top of the grill:

by doing this so you don't have to clean the grill? what is the purpose of that? Also do they have an addon to take out the grill and put a different grill to cook boiling water?

I use the pan because it's hard to cook bacon and eggs on a grill. Bacon tends to burn rather than cook and eggs tend to fall right through the rack. If you want to boil water, you need a more concentrated heat source than the grill that comes with the trailer, such as a camp stove. We always boil water on the stove in the trailer.

This griddle fits tightly over the rack of the little grill that comes with the trailer, but it is heavy.

I loved the little grill that came with the Geo Pro and I'm going to miss it. I'm moving up to a Gulf Stream Vintage Cruiser and the only thing I don't like about it is that the propane connection for grill is all the way on the back corner of the trailer and it does not come with a grill.

Is a Blackstone griddle (or similar) an option? This is what Rockwood now provides with new trailers (Mini-Lites, at least) in lieu of a grill. They can be adapted to use the grill mount on the side of the trailer. I love mine and prefer it over a grill.

This does not address your desire to boil water but that's easily done on the indoor stove.

thank you all!!! so to boil water i will use the gas stove inside the trailer. that seem right. we don't want the trailer to smell.

So any cooking should be done outside. inside is only for boiling water or making soup.. anything related to frying or using oil should be done using the griddle.
