I use the pan because it's hard to cook bacon and eggs on a grill. Bacon tends to burn rather than cook and eggs tend to fall right through the rack. If you want to boil water, you need a more concentrated heat source than the grill that comes with the trailer, such as a camp stove. We always boil water on the stove in the trailer.
This griddle fits tightly over the rack of the little grill that comes with the trailer, but it is heavy.

I loved the little grill that came with the Geo Pro and I'm going to miss it. I'm moving up to a Gulf Stream Vintage Cruiser and the only thing I don't like about it is that the propane connection for grill is all the way on the back corner of the trailer and it does not come with a grill.
