help for slideout D seal replacement

Have a Rockwood Forest River 8289 WS 5th wheel. Need help on replacing upper D seal on livingroom slide. Does anyone know if you have to replace the whole seal and wiper or can you replace just the D seal?

If it looks exactly like the picture, you will have to replace the entire D seal that is attached to the H seal . My Coachmen had a D seal that locked onto the H seal and was separate and replaceable.
That is going to be a pain in the ***** to replace. You will see it has sealant holding it to the exterior and staples holding it on inside. You will need to remove the interior staples and and exterior sealant before you can remove the seal.
I would gladly pay a service center $300 - $400 for that repair.

I did replace a side piece, but did not replace the top. There is no room to work. (Also gave the leftover new seals to the new owner.)

I have a 2809W 2013 Windjammer and the D seal did not have the wiper attached. The wiper was on the H seal. I think my terminology is correct. I ordered new D seal from RVUpgrades, removed a screw at each end, slid off the old and slid on the new and replaced the two screws. Piece of cake.
