Help! No water!

We have a 2015 Minilite 2104s. Just pulled into a campground for the first night of a 7 night trip. Hooked up city water but no water in camper. Verified water is coming through the fresh water hose with good pressure. Any idea what is wrong?

The only time that has happened to me is when the campground spicket already had a pressure reducer on it and I connected my hose to their spicket and then connected the hose to my pressure reducer at the camper inlet...two reducers equal no water.

Need more information!
Is this your fist trip out this year?
Have you camped other times this year and been OK?
We're wondering if something was shut off for winter that has not been turned back on....

You're SURE you have the hose on the city water hookup?
Sure spigot is on?

If nothing else you could put water in your fresh tank and use your onboard water pump.

Fourth or fifth trip this year. Yes it's hooked up properly and the spigot is on.

I once found a camp ground spigot with a bad/stuck anti siphon/back flow device.
I removed it and had water after that....

Has the campground maintenance guy taken a look at your set up?

Water comes out of the campground spigot, through our fresh water hose, through the attached water filter and out the hose with great pressure. When we first turned the taps on inside water flowed for a few seconds. Haven't had the manager over but she is a nice young mama with a babe on her hip and isn't really a techie.

OK that second bit of information helps. Sounds like your spigot screens are clogged. Remove the small screw on screen on the outlet of the spigots in the unit and clean out the crud. If you allow the WH to drain through the low point drains, it can pull the crud in the bottom of the water heater into the lines. Some will flow out with the draining water, but some will stay there and the next time you fire up the water, and turn on a faucet, It will be pushed into the spigot strainers. You may have to clean out your toilet flush valve as well if it turns out to be crud.

The screens both outside and inside are clear. We took our backflow device and water filter off to try again. We can get a steady trickle. I just have a feeling a line is clogged/crimped somewhere. Is that possible?

Possible, yes. Not very likely though. First test would be to fill some water into the water tank and see how it works with the pump. If that's fine then the problem is in the city water line/check valve. If not then there is indeed an obstruction somewhere downstream of the pump and city water junction.

Check the backflow preventer on the city water connection on the trailer. It's right where you connect the hose. You'll see it's a small spring loaded device you should be able to push in. It keeps water from flowing backward out that connection when using the pump. It might be jammed and not opening under the city water pressure. Can you add some water to your fresh water tank, turn on the pump and get water from your faucets that way?

Is your on-board water filter clogged (if your rig has one)?

Was your water fill connection capped. If not, you may have a mud dabber nest that was pushed into the lines.
