To anyone purchasing (or having recently purchased) a new rig with this fridge... Hope your luck is better than mine.
3 week old 2021 2622RK 5er. The DM2872 (Americana II) is the replacement for the previous 2852 & 2862.
Debunked 2872 from day one. Have electric & LP, fire, boiling, but no cooling.
No Ammonia leaks, yes I'm level, etc. etc. Still no cooling. Did the ice water thermoster test - I'm good. But still no cooling.
Dealership did their diagnostic - "Yeah, this is common on these new 287 series. You need a new cooling unit. We'll order one from Dometic, will be here in a week." Twelve days later..."I'm not certain why we told you a week...That cooling unit is back-ordered and it's be about 5 weeks out."
So at the suggestion of a service tech - "Angle your nose down as low as it will go - Run your fridge and just let it go until the next day. Will clear the line if it's a block. It's a 1/2-a$$ed attempt at a full on burp."
I get up the next day - Re-level myself - And you can feel that the freezer is cold! And that fridge had been cooling! BUT... After re-leveling and getting re-situated... I have no power to the fridge. Nada. No inside lights, no lights on the eyebrow, nothing is firing up, no auto/manual switch control.
So I check everything - circuits good, no tripped breaker (both inside and out at my battery terminal hubs), 120V is hot and wired correctly, lower control board is good, fuses are all good. Then I get to the 6 pin (P1) on the lower board, which is the harness that runs the wires to the upper control board and eyebrow. It's dead - No current flowing.
Only thing left I can think of is for me to check the connections and fuse on the upper control board; which means pulling brow control panel out. Is this simple enough to do? None of the manuals are very straight forward with that process, specifically.
And is there anything else I may have overlooked?
Here's my exact units blowout list.

Thanks, guys!
