Hi new here 8289?

Hello everybody new here, just purchased 8289ws 5er with diamond package, dealer had it in stock just what we were looking for. My ? Is I plan on hauling a 20' aluminum boat behind it. I have a 2012 2500 6.0 gmc. Does anybody else on here haul anything like this combo. Interested in any comments.

Welcome to the 8289 family.

Picked ours up Friday.

Sorry I cannot help with regards to towing something behind the 8289, but there will be people chiming in on that question.

The Light Weight Frame on the Signature Lite series may be an issue, but I have no knowledge or statistics on that.

Congrats on the new camper and welcome to the forum!

You'd have to get a fabricator to install a hitch to the frame rails, not the bumper. Of course any modification such as that voids the frame warranty.
