We're counting 8 weeks to be delivered to our dealer based on what we've been told by our dealer.

Ordered ours the 2nd week of march; dealer told us 8-10 weeks. He called last week and said the factory is backed up a bit and it will be towards the end of may before it's done. They're also having difficulty finding delivery guys willing to spend $4 for gas to deliver. I told him we needed by the beginning of June and he said by the time it gets here (WI) we'll be "close." hope we don't have to go on our maiden voyage without a weekend shake down closer to home!

I ordered mine mid February, offline date was almost 8 weeks to the date of order. Went to pick it up in Ohio last week until I discovered it had a significant water leak so I'm waiting for a new one. I have no idea how long it will take although they are trying to get me one as soon as possible since this was Forest River's bad. Cecilt glad you are enjoying yours at MB that's awesome!

Ok....so the 8 week thing is just average timing it takes to be built?
Freight and the dealers PDI add on extra, depending on how busy they are....
Ahaaa....

Sorry to hear about the water leak. What was the actual issue. We had a mobile dealer come fix a water intrusion while down here at MB. Seems when it rained water from the driver tires would splash the under side and find a way to get in and get the carpet wet(not saturated) in front of the u-dinette exactly over the tires. $146 mobile repair fix but hopefully all but $40 will be covered by warranty. Other than that we really like the unit. I hope they can get you one as soon as possible. Not to make it worse but it is 10:30 and I am sitting outside the camper in shorts and tee shirt listenting to tunes on the outside speakers and enjoying multiple cold ones

Roskopf's in Menomonee Falls. They beat RV Wholesalers by $2K.

Nice.
I like Roskopf's. Good service department. I got quotes from them, Scenic Traveller, RVD and RVW. Scenic beat them all.

Ordered mine Jan. 08. Arrived @ dealer April 22. Went to dealer today, they still hadn't inspected it. I did MOST of my PDI, will finish next Sat. at pickup.

So, from order to pickup, 16.5 weeks. (If all goes well!)

John

I actually miscalculated. It will be exactly 17 weeks!

I told my dealer I wanted to pick it up the first of May, so, he may have sat on the order. Don't know for sure, I never got a copy of the Order Confirmation.

Wow thats one h*&l of a trailer!!!!!

Mine is half the size.......so it should take half the time to build, right?

I agree, Kim. That IS one big trailer and I'm thinking it would be absolutely perfect for me and my DW once the kid's leave the nest (in, oh, about 30 years)

I've always like the floor plans with a front kitchen and a real bedroom separated by a real bathroom. Nice for the really long trips, I bet.

As for out trailers, I'm sure that FR is reading through these posts and realizing they need to put us to the front of the line

Hmmm...well I guess it will get here when it gets here..........

I had booked a site for May 20-23, hoping it would be here by then.
After booking it.....I found out that on that particular weekend, Public Health Ontario is having a campaign at the park, to raise awareness about ticks and Lyme disease, since this park has an abundance of the black legged (deer ticks) that carry it.
Not a good thing for the dog.......

So if the trailer isnt here in time........maybe it is for a reason.

I hope for your sake it DOES take half the time to build! Hopefully you will be able to make the May trip!

As for it being a "h*&l of a trailer", thank you! We liked this floor plan in '06 when we bought our Rockwood, and, once we saw the newer models with the dual slides, we had to upgrade! As we were looking last year, FR added the "walk-in closet" to the rear, so we decided to wait a few months and order the new model.

John

Ordered our 3008W from our local dealer on March 12th. When we got home last night we had a message from the dealer that the TT will be done on May 5 and they plan having it picked up on the 6th for delivery to them.

I have to call them back, but hoping for delivery to us during the week of the 9th. Nine weeks from order to delivery. We already plan on going to Smoky Mountain National Park the 3rd week of June plus a couple of weekend trips before for shake down trips.

It sure has been hard waiting, but it will not be long.
