How Remove Minilite Ceiling Lites

Hi folks, can you tell me how to remove the round ceiling lights in the Minilite? I'm guessing the plastic lens either pops off, is not removable, or twists off. I don't want to damage it. Perhaps the entire light pulls down but am guessing the plastic lens can be removed to reach the light itself. thanks

Yup counter clockwise. Be sure not to lose the button when you take it off.

Does the entire lens turn or just the button in the center?

Whole thing. Just grab the ends and twist.

Are these already led, or the old light bulb type?

I replaced all of mine with an almost identical fixture but with warmer light (3500K) and a button that glows soft green in the dark. One other observation: Forest River used sheet metal screws that were too large in diameter (appear to be #8) for the thin ceiling material and the hole in the ceiling is marginally too large and one or two of the original too large screws break through the margin of the hole. The new light fixtures included smaller diameter screw and they do a far better job of securing the fixture to the thin ceiling.

QUESTIONS: Is the lens actually threaded or just a quarter turn counter clockwise to release and remove lens? THANK YOU

The lens doesn't have threads, just some tabs that lock into the metal ceiling piece to hold it in place.

Please share a link of the lights you installed. The OEM lights are too bright and I've been thinking of changing them out to a softer brightness.

Thank you! Since my post, I forced the plastic lens in a counter clockwise turn and the lens fell off! As you stated, just approximately four small tabs hold the lens in place. When replacing lens, you MUST line up the center slot on the lens with the center switch. I am headed to my RV dealer today in an attempt to identify and order a few light fixtures. IF I identify the part number, I will post in this forum.
