IRV 66 Stereo
IRV66 is the stereo I have in my 2016 2604WS. The reception is little to nothing!
I pulled the stereo out and it looks like the antenna is hardwired to the stereo? It is also a very skinny cheap cable coming from the antenna directly above the stereo. I don't see any type of grounding wire either, should I see one?? If yes, can I add one somehow while I have the stereo (sort of) out??
If it isn't a ground wire issue....
I would like to attach it to the TV antenna but not sure how or if I can get the current antenna out of the stereo.
Anybody else remove theirs? Can I do it? Or what can I do?

It should have a Motorola connector. It may look hardwired bit it's not. Try pushing it in further. Often they do not push them in far enough when they install.

WOW! They spared no expense on that connector!
Despite the poor choice of connector and the even worse job of crimping it to the antenna coax, it does simply pull out and will look like the one Havercamp posted in his photo.
You 'might' get the blade of a screwdriver between the little tab sticking up on the connector and the chassis body to help pry it out.
They make adapters that will go from the Motorola connector to TV coax and you should be able to tap into your roof top TV antenna if wiring is within close proximity. There are several posts here on those that have done just that.

Every rig is different. We've had reports of purple, orange, blue and black.
You are going to have to do a little investigating.

Check with MCMelectronics.com for an adapter. You will need another cable splitter as well. I could not even get the radio station 5 miles away before the adapter. Now I get 30+ stations. You will have to turn on the power amplifier for it work with radio. Highly recommended upgrade, but it does not work for AM stations.

Actually, a two way splitter. (3 ports, one in, splits two ways out)
Like this...

Where am I adding that in?
Does each TV have a splitter, ie., Living room, bdrm, outside? I opened cabinet and see 2 splitters, these are for?

Diva,
It is REALLY going to be hard for us to tell you what each coax and splitter is for.
Every one of these rigs are wired differently and even some that are the same model are wired differently.
Back to your original query... you wanted to connect your roof top antenna to your iRV66 for better reception. You are going to have to find an output coax from the antenna booster (likely at the back of the booster/wall plate or other convenient location) and split that coax. One port goes to the the iRV66 antenna port (with adapter) the other to wherever the coax was headed that you split.
See photo below.
You would remove the coax marked 'Set 2' and connect it to one of the output ports of the splitter. Put the coax going to your iRV66 on the other output port of the splitter. Install a short coax from the wall plate/booster marked 'Set 2' to the input of the splitter.
EDIT:
Alternately, you could do the same thing utilizing the port on the front of the wall plate/booster. This would leave the splitter and wires exposed but if you say they are in a cabinet, maybe it wouldn't matter

UGHHHH!!! So I got the connector but the outer part is too big around and won't fit into the stereo. Are there smaller ones?
Update....found this, hope it will work....

No. That has a wrong adapter on one end. That one is a RCA to coax F-connector.
While the RCA connector looks similar to the Motorola connector, they are nowhere near compatible.
You want a Motorola to RG59 coax adapter. The Motorola connector is sometimes called a AM/FM connector. The RG59 coax connector is sometimes referred to as a F-connector.

Got the cable and hooked it all up, yes much better reception! I did have to raise my antenna to get even better reception and more channels but I am in a rural area.
Thanks all for your help!!!
