Jackpoint location 2606ws torsion axle

What a mystery! Is it OK to jack at the points shown (the white arrow) in these 2 jpgs?

I"d use quotes #2 method . Or on the frame tight to the "box" in the #1 pics. That 2" tube is a brace.

Thanks fonz.

I went and bought a 6 ton big red bottle jack at tractor supply, and used that. $30.

I did not like putting the jack on wood like that, until I realized that my 2 scissor jacks on each side are rated at 5000 lbs each. So I jacked it up with the bottle jack, then jacked the scissor jacks down to touch pavement. Don't think it could fall with 10,000 lbs of support. My trailer weighs 6100 dry or 3000 on one side.

Just need to remember to raise the scissors BEFORE letting the bottle jack down.

I jack up mine just like fonzie. A simple method that lifts both tires off the ground.

As long as one is jacking up by the frame near the axles they're OK.

Never jack up by the axle itself with the torflex axles.

Certainly a good safety measure however, if the jack is lowered, or just leaks down, the frame is loaded in a manner exactly the opposite of how it was designed. Frame flex probably won't damage the frame itself but it MIGHT cause issues in the structure that is on top of it.

A better method for safe support might be to place jack stands in front and behind axle support where they can support the frame itself. Jack high enough to place jack stands then lower the frame down to the jack stands.

Can still lower stabilizer jacks but remember that the frame is designed to support the loat AT THE AXLES, not the corners. Stabilizer jacks are only to support a partial load at the corners so nobody gets seasick as people move around in the Trailer.

This is the method I used as I had to leave the two wheels off overnight and then the same for the other side. After removing the wheels I gently lowered the jack to support the frame on the jack stands. No issues and pretty simple to do.

Thanks for the reply RE: supporting the load at the ends of the frame. since I have them, I'll put stands like shown in picture above.
