Looks like the installation is a bit complicated...

Question Bike Rack

I have not installed it yet, but for carrying two mountain bikes, I got the Swagman Traveller XC2 for the rear bumper of our MiniLite.

Going to remove the spare tire and carry that in the pickup, and mount the Swagman to the bumper.

Lots of bumper horror stories on the web, but the one on the MiniLite looks to be secured to the frame pretty well.

Heres hoping it will be ok...

I would not just go with the bumper. Hope is not a good plan. I would suggest these as a minimum:

Here's another option:

See Post #12 here for what I put on my Mini Lite:

(Post #2 is what I had on my Roo 19).

Without having braces welded to the bumper AND frame, it's not going to be ok.
It's a thin metal bumper with weak welds, on an ultralight frame.

I had a 2 inch hitch welded to trailer frame, the reason I went this way was I had an issue with the rear bumper, i had a bike rake with two bikes, I even had brackets bolted to strengthen the bumper. After one trip about 4 hrs driving the constant bouncing from the bikes put a small crease in the bumper, so beware?

Had a buddy of mine who is a certified welder beef up my bumper area so we could add a receiver. He welded up the frame and added steel plates to different areas. It could carry a few horses now. But all we carry is about 75 to 100 lbs of bike and rack. Drove to California from Texas and back with it and my wife was behind me. She said it never moved. We're pleased.

Bumper Mount

The bumper is thin, but the one on ours, 2018 1905G is pretty stout.

Each end has two L brkts huck bolted to the frame with sturdy welds to the bumper.

I am not worried the bumper will fail.

I will post back our experience. Maybe by leaving the spare tire on and the bike rack it would tax the welds but I took the spare off and there is no movement with the Swagman rack.

I will watch it in the rear observation camera going down the road.
